    Born in Albania, raised in Greece, and shaped by kitchens around the world. My cooking style is biomatic: a personal expression influenced by Mediterranean roots, Scandinavian purity, and bold Asian flavors.

    I’ve honed my craft in some of the world’s most respected restaurants — Frantzén, Jordnær, Maison Pic, Noma, and The Jane. Each stop shaped the way I cook, but it’s seasonal ingredients that continue to inspire me most.

    On 25 November, I open my own restaurant — MERO — in the heart of Antwerp. A place where comfort meets curiosity and every dish has its own story.
